Manual Butterfly Valve
Butterfly valve are driven in a variety of ways: lever-operated, gear operated, pheumatic actuator, chain operator, electric actuator. Both lever operated butterfly valve & gear-operated butterfly valves are manual butterfly valve. Manual means butterfly valve are driven by hands. Compared with pheumatic actuator, electric actuator, manual butterfly valve is simple-structure
Lug Type Butterfly Valve
Gear operated valve regulates the flow of liquid or gas. The disc of the worm gear operated butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. In the cylindrical passage of the butterfly valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly disc rotates around the axis and the rotation angle is between 0° and 90°. When the rotation reaches 90°, the gear operated valve is in a fully open state. Gear drive has the advantage of saving labor, being easy to operation and longer service life.
Wafer Type Butterfly Valve
Wafer butterfly valve has simple structure, small volume, light weight, and has good fluid control characteristics. Its disc is installed in the diameter direction of pipeline, so the valve can be quickly opened and closed by rotating its disc 90 degrees.
The wafer body is easy to be connected between two pipeline flange with flange bolts, but it cannot be used at end in a fluid system.
Dual Plate Wafer Type Check Valve
The dual plate wafer type check valve is made up of valve body, discs, stem and springs, and is connected by wafer type. Due to the short closing stroke of the valve discs and the springs’ attached, the water hammer phenomenon can be significantly reduced. It is mainly used for water supply and drainage pipe networks of municipal, industrial and high-rise buildings. Because its structural length is shorter than that of general check valves, it is convenient to install.
Grooved Butterfly Valve
Grooved end butterfly valves are fixed to the pipes by means of standard clamping couplings. The grooved end clamping system is widely used for indoor fire protection installations since it is a fast and efficient way of joining pipes due to its high degree of flexibility. Furthermore, it absorbs vibrations and noise transmission through the system.
U Type Butterfly Valve
It’s the wafer type valves, but the designed U type flanges facilitate the pipeline centering The butterfly plate of the U type butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. In the cylindrical passage of the butterfly valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis, and the rotation angle is between 0° and 90°. When the rotation reaches 90°, the valve is fully opened.
U-type butterfly valve adopts mounted structure, which reduces the connection bolts of the body under the condition of high pressure and large diameter, enhances the reliability of the valve, and overcomes the influence of system weight on the normal operation of the valve. It can be opened and closed quickly.
Lever Type Butterfly Valve
Lever operated butterfly valve, has a relatively simple structure, small size, lightweight, and better flow control characteristics. When turning the lever, in the butterfly valve body cylindrical inner channel, valve disc is associated with the lever around the axis of rotation, rotation Angle is 0° to 90° when rotating to 90°, butterfly valve is in the fully open state. Usually, the lever operators are available for size DI50-300(2″ – 12″), but it is recommended that gear operators be used on size DN200(8″) and larger.
